I recently enjoyed a Pacific Northwest cruise onboard Holland America’s ms Zuiderdam. The first of their Vista-class of ships, the ms Zuiderdam lives up to Holland America’s impeccable standards, offering outstanding service, enhanced dining experiences, luxurious accommodations and a touch of class.
Fresh from her “Signature of Excellence” makeover, this 11-deck ship not only offers a traditional cruising experience but now also offers a more contemporary feel.
Holland America’s “Signature of Excellence” initiative added features and amenities to their ships including plush new bedding and Egyptian cotton towels that offer comfort beyond words. Their ships also have amenities and features that are able to engage cruisers of all ages.
Another great thing about Holland America is their attention to detail. From unique and extravagant fresh flower displays to nearly one crew member for every two guests, Holland America succeeds in providing the little things that make our vacation unforgettable.
While not a mega-ship, the ms Zuiderdam spaciously accommodates the 1900 plus guests that it holds. It also has a large amount of staterooms with balconies (over 80 percent) and deluxe suites. Some of her other highlights include:
